The word Mezquite (Neltuma spp.; Strombocarpa spp.) (attested in English 1759, Spanish 1591 (Haugen 2009)) comes from Nahuatl miskitl <mizquitl>. I have found no cognates for this Nahuatl word in other Uto-Aztecan languages.
