Dog
From SUALEX
Southern Uto-Aztecan words for "Dog" are built on two main roots *tsu "dog" and *tsi "puppy", these are combined with other roots in the individual languages. The three compound forms are *kotsi in Tara-Guarijío, *wotsi in Tepiman, and *tsɨkɨi in Corachol-Nahuan.
It is interesting that Totonacan and Mayan also have roots with *tsi for "dog", but this seems to be an ancient Wanderwort.
